I wonder if this will encourage further prosecutions on this issue. I heard a conversation between Libby and Shooter Cheney where it seemed Cheney encouraged Libby to go with this made up story.

Libby testified that he told Cheney "the story" and that he was going to tell the special prosecutor the story and Cheney did not say anything except look at him sideways.

Nope, but it is nice that you could do it for me....

I was thinking of things like Ollie as well as those. Hence the more generic terminology. But it does make me smile that it was the first thing that crossed your mind!

    LOL
I still say you were thinking Marc Rich.

I love some of the ads here. My favorite one today is, "make your living will out online". What a great idea!

I actually get more pissed when "my" guys do such things than when "your" guys do it. It's up to "your" side to curtail such action from "your" guys, it is up to "mine" to do the same for "us".

At least that is how my mind runs.

Nice dodge, Shrub. It's been demonstrated beyond any doubt, that your top henchmen were leaking a CIA agent to the media. When you gonna fire them, like you promised, Shrub?

No, even the investigator said he couldn't prove that. It was proven beyond a reasonable doubt that he lied to investigators and obstructed justice.

Karl Rove and Ari Fliesher both admitted to leaking plame's name to the press. Bush originally said he'd fire anyone who leaked. Crime, or not.

It would force the pres to space out his pardons instead of waiting till the last minute. He might even have to issue some crony pardons before the nov election
this would force him to justify his pardons a bit...

IMO, he should have fired them. Don't say what you are unwilling to act on.
