No, you simply did not convey a complete thought.

No, it is clear that most haven't paid enough attention to even know to whom it refers. It's sad really, the vast majority of us have the attention span of a poodle when it comes to politics.
Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.

That is why the stragety of screaming wolf seems to work.

That's not very fair, poodles get a bad press despite the fact that they were originally bred as gun dogs in Germany. They are also the second most intelligent dog after the Border Collie.

This is a very dangerous time on the Korean Peninsula, there is a power struggle going on in North Korea and the military seems to be in the ascendancy. Seoul is only 35 miles from the DMZ, North Korea could completely destroy it with their estimated 13,000 artilllery force before it could be stopped.

I was readung the usc football board today and several people said they had family members who are serving there and they say tension is real high and a couple of people were told they would only have a three minute warning if N Korea fired at them.

A modern artillery shell has a velocity of over 2000 mph, which means that they could reach Seoul in less than a minute.

They fired dozens of gun shots in the territorial waters of my country, so we responded for self defense.

    We warned them several times.

The chief executive of South Korea during his recent foreign trip let loose foolish remarks about "complete abandonment of nuclear program" and "responsible attitude".

He made arrogant remarks that "the North's insistence on its stand would only bring bigger damage to it"

The balderdash of the South Korean authorities revealed their intention.

No one seems to have realised what lies behind this (or might lie behind it). Kim is dying. Kim has a mentally challenged son called Um or err or thing or something. He was promoted to the rank of general a few weeks ago. Daddy Kim now needs to show his slaves that their new owner is a great general and worthy of the title 'The Dearest Pumpkin' or whatever has been dreamed up for him.
A few shells onto a disputed island knowing that it is unlikely that SK will retaliate and the slaves and robots of NK will cheer him as the greatest general of all time who wiped the eye of the evil South Koreans and their paymasters, the US.
Meanwhile there will be some great bargains to be picked up on our local stock market. Another 400-500 point drop today will suit us just fine.

If you feel so inclined a comment would be appreciated.

Respect a believers right to believe, but they should damn well repect our right to challenge such utterly illogical notions.

No, I'm saying a border under dispute is not the place to play soldier.

I have enough of a clue to realize only an idiot or war monger would deliberately antagonize a nuclear power.
