Yep.
The illegal immigrants are coming into the country to work. They are being illegally employed, which is not the equivalent of sneaking into the field without a ticket to watch a game. Employers are permitted or, should I say required, to check immigration status but they'll overlook the fine print in order to hire cheap labor.... unlike an usher, who can throw out a gate-crasher. The illegal immigrants are paying for their food and living expenses, local taxes, in some cases FICA, so they're not "watching the game for free, refreshments included". And hospitals are required to see and stabilize everybody, immigrant or not, regardless of ability to pay. Where's a statistic showing that every illegal immigrant who sought treatment didn't pay for it? What about the legal immigrants and citizens who don't pay?
I think Brewer's analogy fails.
so if someone snuck into the arena without a ticket, but picked up a broom and started sweeping ringside....its a-ok because they are working, they didn't break the law by getting in without a ticket, because they are working....it doesn't matter if they get free services, because they are working....

Well, legally immigrating to the United States isn't like a basketball game where you can simply shell out a set amount of cash to purchase a ticket allowing you to enter. Yes, it cost money but it isn't as simple as purchasing a ticket. I mean, if there were legal ways for anyone that wanted to immigrate to the United States to simply pay a fee legally enter the country then your point would be valid. But that's just not how it works.

Sure I do. Brewer is positing that all immigrants come here simply to live off the system, but in truth they're coming here to work, mainly at the jobs Americans won't do. She left out the whole "work" part in her comment, ergo the main point is dissimilar to the reality of illegal immigration.
But I say it's on my dime.
I say you're wrong.
It would be a lot simpler if you payed the difference.
But unfortunatly I'm involved.
Until you come up with the money I'm expected to pay, and you personally pay for it for me, (that which would be MY FAIR SHARE), It's not fair to me.
It's not fair at all!
