What can I say about this tool that you won't instantly understand? This is awesome. Here's an online flash application that charts the nation's migration statistics by county. Do notice the mass exodous from NY and the eastern corridor in general. Blue states are taxing the wealthy and poor alike right out of their states. LOL

wait for the map to load. click on a county and after a moment or two the migration will be charted by a series of lines representing differing levels of income and the direction of migration. In the case of blue states, you see lots of red lines indicating people are leaving.

They're all heading out here to the pacific NW or lower florida.

Check out all the northeasterners retiring to broward, dade, and surrounding counties in florida.
