Default More Britain's Got Talent Surprises?

Excellence is an art won by training and habituation. We do not act rightly because we have virtue or excellence, but rather we have those because we have acted rightly. We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.
    - -- Aristotle

Believe nothing on the faith of traditions, even though they have been held in honor for many generations and in diverse places. Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it. Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past. Do not believe what you yourself have imagined, persuading yourself that a God inspires you. Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests. After examination, believe what you yourself have tested and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.
    - -- The Buddha

It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.

They blocked the show from the Brits? Dang. That's funny.

LOL we'll keep the cool stuff, but return most of the content. This would be, eg., like keeping Simon Cowell, because he's awesome, but taking his stupid programming (Idol) and shipping it back to England. Good enough?

    You like Simon Cowell?

I know the entire thing is rigorously scripted and he likes to portray himself as the controversial straight-talking, tell-it-like-it-is, anti-hero but, all things considered, he would comfortably top a list of '10 people you'd like to hit repeatedly with a spade'.

And that's without taking into account the multiple crimes against music that high-trousered fool has unleashed on the world.

LOL yeah, I get a kick out of his routine. Its always funny to see people walk off the show, "astounded" that they could receive such horrible verbal treatment from him. The morons just never learn...

That said, the show is pretty much unwatchable, and I rarely see much of his antics anymore, except at the end of Shrek...

Cowell signed up a number of acts to S-Records including [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curiosity_Killed_the_Cat"]Curiosity Killed the Cat[/ame], [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonia_Evans"]Sonia Evans[/ame], [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5ive"]Five[/ame], [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Westlife"]Westlife[/ame], Robson & Jerome, and [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultimate_Kaos"]Ultimate Kaos[/ame]. He also released several [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novelty_song"]novelty recordings[/ame] featuring the likes of wrestlers of the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Wrestling_Entertainment"]World Wrestling Federation[/ame], [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teletubbies"]Teletubbies[/ame],[10] Zig and Zag and the [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mighty_Morphin_Power_Rangers"]Mighty Morphin Power Rangers[/ame], that were huge successes.[3] Cowell set up another label, [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syco_Records"]Syco Records[/ame], in 2002 which later became part of [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbia_Records"]Columbia Records[/ame] and [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_BMG_Music_Entertainment"]Sony BMG Music Entertainment[/ame]. Artists such as [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leona_Lewis"]Leona Lewis[/ame], [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Il_Divo"]Il Divo[/ame] and contestants from The X Factor and America's Got Talent are released on Syco. He has a lot to answer for, in my opinion, it's hard to know where to begin with that lot.

Simon is an overbloated self inflated ego, he fits in America nicely.
