Sorry, you've got that wrong. The Chairman is appointed for 4 year terms, not concurrent with the term of the President. Bernanke, who was appointed in Feb. 2006 by bush, cannot be fired except for cause. It is made difficult for a reason. Bernanke's tie is to bush not Obama who has been in office less than 3 months.obama
