Your words show your racists beliefs. You try to paint Zimmerman as 'white' because he 'doesn't act Hispanic'. You proclaim that crime stats are done by 'white people' to paint 'black people with a broad brush'.

I would love to see your examples of my 'own racism and bigotry'... please do highlight an example or two.

poet you really need to update yourself on current racist tendencies in modern america. you are referring to blunt racism, that's pretty much in the past. Very few people openly hate someone for their race these days.

The minority gazette has informed us that we are now dealing in an era of subtle, nuanced racism. That's the stuff you practice. That's why the "I have black friends" excuse said by whites is usually laughed at. You sound like a cracker to be perfectly honest.

apparently you have quite a few different names on the web as well. Is that hypocrisy I smell again?

I change my name because it's a fun feature, it reflects different aspects of my moods, coordinated in jokes with others, or just plain randomness. I like expressing myself because I am a human being with many layers. Changing my name is just one small way of doing that for a few seconds of effort.

I am sorry to hear that you have nothing for me. I would like for you to be my friend. You seem like you could be a cool dude if you would just let go of all your hate and pent up anger.

I am also sorry that I have nothing you want. I really would like to help educate you on modern racism in america.

The thing is, you come from a privileged position as a minority in america. You have for a long time enjoyed your position fighting oppression, so you have become unaware of what the perpetuation of racism looks like from the 1st person perspective. I have been around a few people that have practiced nuanced racism, and understand fully the signs, the keywords, the hidden language, all of that. There are just some things you can never understand, unless you have truly lived it. So when you say things like "he's not hispanic, he was acting white" what you are really inferring is subtle racism, that only a white person could chase down a minority, that acting violent is "white." You are painting an entire group of people with a broad brush based on their skin color. That is wrong.

I know you have good intentions, which is why I've offered to help educate you further, and help identify the warning signs of nuanced racism. But I guess you can only help those that want to help themselves.

I hope you are able to continue to learn, grow, and better yourself as a human being.

Listen, you have no idea what you're talking about. Try, me, standing on a busy street corner in midtown Houston, waiting for a bus, around 3pm, broad daylight. Dressed "nice casual". Up drives a late model Mercedes, with two middle to elderly white women in the car. The passenger side woman, takes one look at me, and locks her door.
If I had my way, I would have walked into the street, and up to her car window and said "boo". Don't fucking talk to me about racism and what it looks like. I've lived it. Most of my life. I've seen white, the whole spectrum. You've seen very little of the black spectrum, else you wouldn't speak as you do.

Poet, you are a religious man are you not? Perhaps you should learn the art of forgiveness, and be more like jesus. Jesus wouldn't say "seriously fuck you" to anyone trying to share experiences with racism.

You suffer racism, and are racist in turn, you preach the tenets of "good" christianity, but don't practice them yourself, when it comes to forgiveness.

You shield yourself upon a moral highground, but it's clear you just use religion and race as tools to silent any dissenting voice, anyone that happens to disagree with you.

I find that very sad.

As always poet, having hate and anger inside yourself will only serve to destroy you and those around you. Before ever saying anything, or doing any action, you should ask yourself, "in any small way, are my actions making the world more positive, or negative?" If the answer is negative, than you should re-evalute your actions.

Stop speaking like a filthy mouthed teenager, talking about sucking dicks. Instead, strive to inject positivity in the world, even if it stings sometimes, the world needs all the positivity it can get.

I am not going to reduce myself to your level. I will always be here for you, if you need an ear, or a message board friend.
