Cain this all be true?

I wouldn't vote for Cain. I'd consider Romney, though - he is, after all, a universal healthcare guy...

But your stated reason was that he would force women to bring a rapist child to term, which was proven to be untrue. He's also not against universal health care as long as its at the state level, just like Romney. So what will your next excuse be? :)

It actually is true, and did I state that this was the only reason I wouldn't vote for Cain? On social issues, he's basically draconian, so no, he doesn't get my vote.

I'm much more intrigued by your support for a MA liberal. Care to expound?

Desh, Maineman, Cypress... It was pretty much constant... All three of them aren't here any longer, and yeah, in that way I'm glad that I don't see it here. Is that okay with you? Do I need permission to be glad about something? Or is it I should want to see more of that same type of disrespect? I just love seeing the President, both Bush and Obama called "hitler" and everything I should cheer for more of the same old stuff that I didn't like before?

I'm glad that I don't see much of that anymore, we have enough of the "other" things you mention.

You are just very biased... President Obama is disrespected as much as President Bush was, maybe more so. It is different, but the level is about the same.

It's so cool that posters like DY & Dixie & the rest will end up voting for a liberal from Massachusetts...

A liberal FLIP-FLOPER from Massachusetts who never served in the military and is not a Christian.*

* not my defination of Flip-Flopper or my defination of Christian. I personally dont have a problem with him changing opinions or being Mormon

You know.... When I add up the Perry, Bachmann, Santorum, Paul, Gingrich, Huntsman, and Johnson vote percentages, and I add in the percentages of undecideds who were waiting to see if Sarah Palin, Chris Christie, or Rudy Guliani would enter the race... and I figure that most of them are probably NOT Romney supporters, else they would be supporting Romney.... When I add all this up, I don't see how Romney wins the nomination. You could ASSUME that these votes would break more for Romney, but I disagree, this isn't a statistical average, these people aren't hot on Romney and never will be, that's why they support another candidate. If it gets down to Cain vs. Romney, things might be a completely different story. All of these people aren't going to stay in the race, as they drop out, they will endorse other candidates, and their supporters will begin to look at the remaining candidates, of which Herman Cain will be one. Now.... Herman is magic... people listen to what he has to say, and respond favorably. In the first GOP debate, Frank Luntz group of 100 likely voters, only two were familiar with Cain going in... when he asked how many now support Cain as their candidate, about 80% of the hands went up. Luntz said he has never seen such a stark contrast in all his years of doing this. Cain has a way of connecting with an audience and winning them over, and he has already come from relative obscurity to #2 in the polls, how did that happen?

"He's a magic man, momma"

Your Cain fantasy reminds me of your George Allen fantasy, followed by your Palin fantasy. Cain won't be the nominee, Dixie.

You'll have to pull the lever for Romney, unfortunately.

You're intrigued by anything to deflect your weak position. So tell me, what specifically about Cain's social policies do you find "Draconian"? :)

I think it is mostly because I dislike misspelling and poor grammar. It grates at my engineer's soul. It would bother me as much to see pResident obama as it would to see pResident reagan... the constant pResident and "bush" rather than Bush bothered me the same way Jazz music does.

Herman Cain seems to me to be a black version of Ross Perot, a very clever man who would be a disaster if he ever became President.
You're just being racist. Just because the black man we have now is a disaster doesn't mean that all black men would be disasters.
