my money's on the statistical probability that white on white violence ranks first, black on black violence second, and cross-racial violence from either side ranks a distant third........
public displays of mass violence such as this?......can you cite me an example of a white on black parallel from recent times?........

I find it curious that this thread quickly became more about race-baiting and accusations of racism than about the story.
If indeed, there were mobs of black kids attacking mostly white people, is reporting that considered racism? And wouldn't the attacks themselves be racist?
When there have been mobs of white people attacking blacks it is reported as such, and the disgust is apparent from both sides of the political aisle. (with a few ignorant exceptions)

The only way to detract from the racially motivated facts is to make moronic justifications for it- or to insinuate that the racial aspect of the story is exaggerated....you know, because the right are racists. To ignore; excuse; or deny, that racism exists in the black community has long been a liberal media position- liberals merely take their ques from them.

It's what appears to have happened, you can reiterate and clear it up, but this is weak. Tell us what you really think.
The reason media coverage is the way it is has to do with the fact that white on black prejuduce & violence has been much more prevalent & a much greater problem in the U.S. over the years than the reverse. It's the same concept as a huge oil spill getting more coverage than someone littering.
This is also one of Yurt's things - the idea that there is some sort of equivalency with reverse racism. There really isn't, at least not yet, and never has been. It's a strange thing to be obsessed with.
