ThatOwlCoward is welcome into any of my threads and welcome to respond to any post that I make on this forum. In fact, I challenge her to do so. The problem is that she is too much of a coward to do so, and can only spout off mindless hate filled drivel towards anyone who doesn't "tow the party line".

She claims to have put me on ignore, and has bragged about it numerous times in the past, but has she really? Who knows, who cares... she's just another coward, afraid of intellectual discussion... afraid to take a step outside of the kiddie pool...

Apparently Asians are supposed to feel demeaned if someone refers to them as Orientals, huh? Good luck finding a single Asian American who has ever had the word spat at them in anger. Most Asian Americans have had racist epithets hurled at them at one time or another: Chink, slant eye, gook, Nip, slopehead, zipperhead. But Oriental isn’t in the canon.

And why should it be? Literally, it means of the Orient or of the East, as opposed to of the Occident or of the West. Last I checked, geographic origin is not a slur. If it were, it would be wrong to label people from Mississippi as Southerners.

Any danger that you might actually address the disgusting way professor Roland Fry was treated by the likes of Claudine Gay and her cohorts? I suspect not sadly. She was directly responsible for having him suspended for two years without salary on trumped up sexual harassment charges.

A kid I used to whitewater kayak with had a full academic scholarship to Harvard and turned it down.
