Word of advice: All or nothing people rarely find happiness. :)

Preventative medicine and vaccinations along with fixing lacerations and broken bones should be covered. Braces and liposuction not so much. People can pay extra if they want those services.

I actually admire some of the armed civilians.

But, there are, at least, two kinds of armed citizens.

And I know both kinds personally, as I have a lot of friends that are gun toters.

Some of my friends with permits to carry, I trust my life with and some I fear could end up getting themselves and others killed with their guns.

When Texas allowed people to carry guns without a permit, it was the stupidest and most dangerous thing they could have done.

It's time for licensing and Registration of guns in Texas!

But how is the Texas Department of Public Safety ever going to be able to handle that when they can't even handle a school shooting, and the Governor has corrupted the department!?

I ask you?

Cause there is no other separate proposal to extend mental health coverage to everyone for free.

This is the same conversation we've been having with Centrists for like 10 years; you want something but you don't want to support the policy that would bring it about.

OK, but we are talking about mental health care and people not being able to access it because they don't have insurance or $$$.

And what you're talking about are your personal preferences, but those are not the same as other people's needs.

Your problem is that you can only look so far as to how something affects you personally; you lack the empathy to see how it affects other people.

Also, braces are a necessity for some people...they're not 100% cosmetic, which you would know if you ever talked to anyone who has ever had braces. Which you haven't because you think you know everything because of how long you've been on this planet, but let me shatter that myth for you right now...most of the old people I know got DUMBER with old age, not smarter with experience. And you can see that clearly in the vote share for 2016 and 2020, where you had Trump running away with the old person vote.

The human brain can be normal and in perfect order- And it may remain that way for a lifetime. However, the human brain can change course and become as dangerous to oneself and others, as a gun in the wrong hands.

All it takes is a physical trauma to the brain, or an emotionally traumatic event, or a medical condition, or the use of alcohol or drugs, to change course.

The combination of a physically or emotionally damaged brain, use of alcohol or drugs, or certain medical conditions, and a gun can be a deadly mix.
