I think that any truths we were going to hear have already been presented to us in the past 1.5 years of reporting on the committee hearings.
I believe that folks are being prosecuted for crimes they committed on that day, that they should be.
I also believe that this "unprecedented prime time hearing" is political theater, propaganda for one party in the hopes that it will change the trajectory of this year's elections. They think that long political ads excoriating an opponent that is not on the ballot will make that difference. I have predicted that it will not, we will find out which of us is right in November. Of course that won't stop me from pointing out that this is political theater any more than it will stop you from getting excited when the next edited video is released.
The Kushners started to distance themselves from Trump. I imagine they did not support his coup attempts. The hearing detailed how Trump was meeting he organizers of “Stop the Steal” in private and when his lawyers found out, they freaked out.
What fact are you disputing?
That his advisors told him he had lost.
That his advisors and experts on the subject told him there was no fraud.
That he attempted to remain in office after his term expired?
It appears you have already made up your mind and didn’t watch, because there was new information presented already. It’s sad you can’t be a little more open to discovery and have swallowed all the Fox talking points.
It is unprecedented to have prim time hearings.
It is political theater.
It is an effort to change the trajectory of the November elections.
That does not make what they are presenting untrue or any less offensive.

There is a unanimous bias against any attempt to defend those this committee chooses to "indict" for any made up crime they choose.
Pelosi claims there is a Republican on the committee, but she chose Liz Cheney. Cheney publicly stated she blamed Trump
for inciting violence at the Capitol, so she's as partisan as they come. Like the impeachment charade, this clown show will be as partisan
as they come.
BTW, inflation hit a 40 year high and gas here went to $5.15 gal. today.

Well, here it is, the rebuke.

However, it does make it so that folks recognizing it as political theater distrust everything presented. If these hearings actually sought any measure of truth it would not be political theater and we'd be having a different conversation. However we know that Pelosi rejected anyone presented that could possibly have held a different view than she wanted presented thus making the entire committee political theater and ensuring that most folks recognizing it as such would simply distrust any of their previously planned "findings" even if they occasionally found a kernel of truth.
But address the evidence, I understand you do not like the committee, but its telling that nobody wants to address the evidence itself.

What was presented however is still shocking and important. The fact that the Trumppers are doing nothing to refute the evidence other than attacking the messenger is telling to me.
Do you have a different view? Do you have any argument against the evidence and argument presented?
I am fairly certain Congress does not have any prosecutorial powers.

What was presented was untrusted and untrustworthy. The "evidence" ignores entirely a different view. Basically, if this was a court it would be considered a kangaroo court.
We have already covered what they presented during the past 1.5 years of talking about this particular committee, there is nothing new heard and nothing new to change my opinion. There literally is no movement in any political opinion anywhere based on these hearings. Those who are being presented with what they wanted to hear will believe it, those who think it is political theater will not change their opinion.
Those folks who damaged property, rioted, hurt people, tried to stop the EC votes being certified, should be, and are being, prosecuted in courts of law where they will actually have a defense presented unlike this distrusted and untrustworthy political theater.
