Weekly numbers In Florida are in and it's a disaster

Today? No. But I raged in the desert all weekend. I'm probably still coming down.

So we have established that you're a pussy ass lying motherfucker. Did you want to lie about me about anything else or are your day nurses tucking you in again?

YOUR SANDBOX IS NOT THE DESERT TWIT!! lmao ITS A SHAME YOU HAD TO LIE ABOUT MASKS, BUT DEMOCRATS ARE LIARS!

The job of the CDC is to make decisions based on actual science not will sway a bunch of knuckle dragging morons. Covid will not have a huge effect on the vaccinated people. We tend to be the ones following the science so we won’t have a problem masking. You are the ones that whine like little babies.

So, the science says that the vaccinated don't need to mask? How about that? FYI, George III stopped being your king quite a while ago.

No, not till YOU get it... or someone you love. :(

I see that allegedly fully-vaxxed Lindsey Graham is positive.

The same can be said for any life threatening disease. I'm not making light of Covid far from it. My problem is those who dislike red states like Fla try to use Covid as evidence that Republicans are evil. Yes Fla. has a problem but the intensity depends on what area one looks at.

You seem upset. Why are you screaming at the internet? Also, I never lied. You're the liar, bitch. Everything I've written here is still visible, so you can fuck right off.

OK, but WHY does Florida have this problem now?

We've had COVID in the US for about 20 months, we all know how deadly it is, how contagious the variants are, how some end up with permanent COVID-related maladies, how the masks, social distancing and vaccines work to stop the spread; and despite knowing all of that, they're still not taking it seriously in FL and TX.

So what can any reasonable person conclude from that if not that the leadership is deliberately proliferating a pandemic? That's pretty evil in my book.

Seems this article appears to say the exact opposite.

Some (R) leaders *are* evil. Many more are stupid, selfish, and have zero honor or integrity. I wish wholeheartedly that this whole pandemic hadn't been so fucking politicized, and we know by who, don't we?

Mostly the rest of us feel badly for you guys and for the other states that are suffering huge outbreaks right now. And we're also very angry because this is ENTIRELY PREVENTABLE. The idiot (R) governors who have refused to do anything to mitigate the pandemic are bringing us all down with them. Do we *really* want to go back to lockdowns, restrictions, and life as it was in 2020? I don't. You don't. Please, hold your elected dipshits responsible and demand that they fix what they have wrought.

Um, no, sorry. It doesn't say the opposite. It debunks the lie that NY's measures did nothing to help versus FL's "Aw fuck it, it's a hoax" approach.

The claim: "Due to differing lockdown orders, New York has more COVID-19 cases, deaths, hospitalizations and job losses than Florida, and New York also lags on vaccinations."

Their summation:

"An Instagram post says New York’s lockdown measures led to more death and economic destruction while Florida’s more open approach led to less.

"The post overstates the correlation between the numbers and lockdown rules. It leaves out important factors, including environment and public health initiatives, and ignores that the two states collect and report data differently.

"Most significantly, it ignores that New York City was the epicenter of the nation’s first wave, before doctors had the equipment, therapeutics and experience needed to fight the new disease. States like Florida were able to learn and benefit from New York’s experience.

"We rate this Mostly False."

I realize there are a lot of idiots out there that are too stupid to try to protect themselves and must have Big government do their thinking for them. I personally resent being told by government where I can legally go and how I must dress to go about my daily business. I'm not the problem why should I be punished? Most R governors feel basically like I do. Give me the guidance and let it go at that. This country was founded on personal liberty, but now there are so many people willing to give up liberty in the name of personal safety. As Ben Franklin said "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."

You realize that Ben had a son die of smallpox and deeply regretted not having him inoculated. I’m not sure what Ben’s position would be on this pandemic.

In your rush to judgement you overlook that the articles main points are on any given day or week one state or the other looks better. So to say that one governor is handling things better than the other is just wrong. Both states have differing variables that make side by side comparisons difficult if not imposable.

I’ll say it, again, DeSantis and Abbott both suck at governing. Abbott has stubbornly not allowed local authorities to handle their cities. DeSantis the same. It’s wrong.

Are you suggesting that we should allow big government control our thinking and lives because of this pandemic? No thanks give me the information and I will take the steps needed to protect me and mine.

Ever go to a public park in a city and see all the "Don't ____" signs? There's a reason for that. Unfortunately many ppl cannot be trusted to behave in a civilized fashion when among others. "No shirt, no shoes, no service" isn't just a catchy slogan; it's posted because there are knuckleheads who think nothing of going into a store or restaurant poorly dressed. Would you like to eat in a restaurant where guys weren't wearing shirts or ppl were running around barefoot? This has nothing to do with personal freedom. It has to do with giving up a tiny fraction of YOUR personal freedom so that others can enjoy THEIR freedom w/o yours impinging on them.

Imagine a city park where ppl could just do whatever. They'd be crapping in the duck pond, canoodling right out in the open, leaving their dog shit everywhere along with their trash, putting spikes in the trees to hang hammocks, riding bikes and scooters on pedestrian paths, building campfires with the vegetation, smoking dope, etc.
