It's hard to say since only the symptomatic are getting tested, and of those they're being tested upon presenting at an urgent care or an ER. There are no doubt thousands more who haven't yet been tested. The R0 value of this variant is pretty concerning; it is as contagious as smallpox and chickenpox. I'm mostly worried about the folks in nursing homes. Even though they have a high vax rate, even just a mild (to us) break-through infection could be the end.
