You can hear where patti smith got a bunch of influence right there.
This band was a pretty much punkish band with harder punk rock for the day, most Certainly the album LORD SUTCH AND HEAVY FRIENDS despite the fact that Jimmy Page, Ritchie Blackmore, John Bonham, Jeff Beck, Noel Redding and Nicky Hopkins performed on it and helped write it
The real interesting thing there is the guitar, the droning, which I love. can almost hear a dead Kennedy's vibe from the guitar.
All 3 Love albums are must haves for any record collector. It is an adventure into Psychedelia! And all 3 have been recently re-issued on 200 Gram copies out in the record stores now!
That's very kinks influenced with some southern rock vibes.
you can see some of the kinks influence here, but it's got more of that chiswick sound that I love so much.
you may recognize the front man.
Is that Shane MacGowin from the Pogues!
Hey if you are interested, I have a buddy who is liquidizing his record store, 750+ records. I'm waiting for the list. lots of old school punk and other crap, bootlegs, et al.
I am always interested in anything Garage Band or Psychedelic. I only collect 45's anymore though! I figured 12 thousand albums were enough! LOL!
Everything I have left is basically for sale! Most of them I have to store in an environmentally controlled storage unit now, as I don't have as much space as I used to have. I am paying 200 bucks a month just to store my records now! That even sounds stupid- now that I think about it! LOL!
Why yes sir, it is!
cool right?
Yes, pretty cool! God! I have tons of sub-pop imports to get rid of someday! I just love UK released vinyl- it's the very best! I don't have enough time left here on earth to play all of my records anymore. There is no way to play all of them in a lifetime really!

you into the stoner/doom stuff?
Well, I didn't used to be, as at one time I even hated Metallica, NIN, and Pantera, etc.
But, that was back in the days when Rock music was somewhat still alive.
After Rock totally died, I backtracked and now appreciate hearing that kind of stuff.
"Walk" is one of my favorite juke box selections now! LOL!
SO I was the same, but lately gotten into all sorts of crap, dove into the hedphone/amo/dac game. I run an adi-dac2 > spl phontior > various headphones from focal and audeze..... I grew a new appreciation for the genre. I think this is one of the best things I have ever heard, and it sounds like a root canal. lol
I still have High End speakers and a nice 250 watt RMS Onkyo Audio/Video receiver, but I don't invest in it anymore, and even those are way too much for my house. I should probably scale back a bit. I used to be into the Dual Mono systems like yours though back in the 80's and 90's.
Most of my mad money is spent on Guitars and Tube Amps these days. I am stuck in Ground Hog Day or something, because every time I buy one- I get this same old feeling of, "I just need one more"! IT SEEMS TO NEVER END!
