RBG gone = 8 justices
in the event of a tie by SCOTUS the lower courts ruling stands

The Repubs views changed because they know they are getting their asses whipped in November and they have been paid by the wealthy to seat judges. The Repubs may be corrupt, but they can read a poll or 2. Even rightys can figure out they are taking a hit for the blatant lies.They could have waited a couple of weeks and seated her in January, but they think they will be out of power then. They are willing to accept the humiliation of all those lies being replayed over and over. There has to be a reason. They are being forced to .
