It's mind-boggling. He seems determined to ignore facts. If he had handled this in supreme fashion it could have catapulted him into a second term. Now it looks like he'll be a one-hit wonder and then he'll have to face the music to the tune of 'Oh Say Can You Say Legal Troubles.'

I would hope so.
Knee-capping the USPS in a desperate attempt to sabotage the election has some consequences he may not have thought of.
1. Many older and Republican Americans depend on their monthly Social Security checks. If those are delayed it will cause hardship and resentment.
2. Screwing up mail-in voting could screw up voting for his supporters. Many older white Republican Americans vote by mail.
3. Attacking a centuries-old US institution like the mail is not part of what the Republican party stands for, not part of the ideals of most Americans.
4. Attacking our election system is not part of what the Republican party stands for, not part of the ideals of most Americans.
All of this will likely result in turning people OFF to supporting him rather than garnish more support.

Agreed. Many have said it before and I'll say it again, "Trump is his own worst enemy". His Tweets and off-the-wall comments have done him more harm than the entire Democratic Party combined.

The Corona cases being supercharged coincide with Trumps opening up businesses and schools way too early. Trump decided the appearance of normalcy would help him in the election. Every gov who broke under trump's pressure to open have had Corona upsurges and deaths. Trump has no problem risking citizens lives to help him in Nov. He simply does not care about them. trump shows that every day.
