Corona Virus Peak Watch Thread

You. I'm locked down in some "dark place."
No, I didn't but I did notice you dodged the Trinnity question. You two are a lot alike. :)

Ha ha. I take it you live in one of those dark places. :)

There's another forum, very far right, kinda like Stormfront-lite, run by a psycho upper middle class trophy wife. All she does all day is drink wine, post on her forum and ban anyone less than full RW nutjob. Do you know of it? They're dark too.

NEWS/CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
US: Coronavirus infections rising in 40 of 50 states
The US, with 25 percent of the world's cases, grapples with dire increases ahead of the July 4 holiday weekend.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States climbed to an all-time high of more than 50,000 per day on Thursday, with the infection curve rising in 40 out of 50 states in a reversal that has largely spared only the Northeast.

In yet another alarming indicator, 36 states are seeing a rise in the percentage of tests that are coming back positive for the virus.

The surge has been blamed in part on Americans not wearing face masks or following other social-distancing rules as states lifted their lockdowns over the past few weeks.

The US recorded 50,700 new cases, according to a tally kept by Johns Hopkins University. That represents a doubling of the daily total over the past month and is higher even than what the country witnessed during the deadliest phase of the crisis in April and May.

You'd have to be seriously out of your skull to vote for this prick;

Hello Dutch Uncle,

Good be a good teaching moment for people to realize what's important and what's not. Many in the nation learned a similar lesson after 9/11 with a trend of "Yuppies" ceasing their endless pursuit of more money and things in favor of family. Unfortunately that trend only lasted about 3-4 years for most Americans.

As discussed elsewhere, as much as I like to shit on the Millennials, they could end up being "the Greatest Generation" of the 21st Century.

We can only hope!

Hello domer76,

I think we’ve had one take and bake pizza since this began. I don’t miss dining out one tiny bit. Nor do I miss sports. I go on more walks/runs/hikes and work in the yard more. I cook healthy meals more. I conserve food better than I have in my entire life.

Other than not seeing my grandsons and mother-in-law for awhile, this pandemic has been a positive experience for us. Sorry to those who it has hurt.

Right on. Much the same here. Yard work and gardening keeps me fit. And it's great to eat the things I am growing. I've had a chance to go through boxes of stuff I've collected, read books I've stashed away in case I ever got the time to read them. I call my friends more often, but I don't see them much, or if I do we keep good separation and stay outside. I've even learned to descale my own teeth.

So? I saw where you blamed the dead by accusing them of having poor immune systems. Do you say the same thing about those with cancer? How about MS? Lupus? Alzheimers?

Alllllllll persons who get seriously ill with a virus have an immune disorder and are severely compromised. There is and has
been for years, solid medical advice for every person on earth on how to build up the immune system.
If I was a person who smoked 3 packs of cigs per day for many years and got lung cancer I would say that I had it coming.
The list goes on and on with physical behaviors that for some require medical attention, for some prove fatal.

Stop spreading your lies and misinformation. Stop blaming sick people for being sick from infectious diseases. What the actual fuck is wrong with you? If the gods are merciful you do not have a job anywhere near the health care field. :palm:
