Frequently people say untrue things about others. Marriages are broken up because of false rumors that someone has spread. Reputations of honest and honorable people are damaged. I can think of several times when rumors have started about me. Christian people not only believe falsehoods but also pass these stories on without even stopping to investigate. Starting lies about someone or spreading them is bearing false witness, a terrible offense in the sight of God.

I don't think that I've ever seen a politician that inspires so much loyalty, even to the point of degrading oneself by lying and defaming others in order to defend him. Some of these ppl literally debase themselves in order to stick up for the most corrupt and unChristian IMPOTUS we have ever been plagued with. It's both fascinating and repulsive at the same time.

It's a long list, but, yes, calling Biden a pedophile would be an example of a person lying. Same goes for anyone the "thanks" or otherwise supports those who say such things even if, like Darth, they don't actually say it themselves.

Disagreed. He's certainly not perfect, but I think he'd be a better President than Biden. Certainly light years ahead of Trump.

Which is exactly how things work in Washington. It's why Pelosi finally relented and gave into the pressure of pulling the trigger on impeachment even though she knew there was NFW it would ever lead to a conviction. She knew that if she pushed back too hard, it'd be her "Bay of Pigs" in seeing someone else become Speaker.
