There's some buzz here (very liberal/Democrat city) but I don't pay much attention to that unless it impacts me personally...and it doesn't....Life is too short, and I'm really busy...
When the market goes up, so does my 401 ...so yes, increased "wealth" makes me happy...I don't care why...
Okay...if a pandemic or other carnage makes the market go up...YOU ARE HAPPY...and do not care about the condition of the world or your fellow human.

Hey, RB. Had our re-organizational meeting yesterday, and we open the course on the 21st. Ahhh...finally back to work. No more cabin fever.
Gotta be careful with that word "fever" these days. 30 or more people at the meeting...we hadn't seen each other in five months...and damn near not one handshake. Mostly elbow bumps. Gonna be a fun year, I can see that!
Just practicing my ball-busting. Once we get back on the course, breaking balls is a must. Never too much swing practice...or ball busting practice. (ALL of my playing partners are older, white men who simply suppose everyone is a Conservative and a Trump supporter. They make allowances for me...claiming that golf is good for the terminally insane.)

My car is still sitting in my friend's showroom, probably for at least another month or so. Car club meeting and dinner is Sat. evening, looking forward to seeing those guys and gals and discussing where we're going this year. Think I'm gonna head out to the gun club this afternoon and to pool match tonight.

Just had a new great-grand cousin (first cousin thrice removed) last week. Also was a boy.
(Son of my cousin's grand-daughter. Not really sure of all that first, second, and removed stuff, but I think I may have that one correct...or nearly correct.)

A pandemic could be very, very good for drug company stocks...and drug company stocks could easily lead a market into a higher trajectory, TOP.
I explained that in my earlier post.
The silly part of this conversation was your comment that if the market goes up...you would be happy no matter what drives it up.
