Every green initiative has been a disaster

All that CO2 in the ground in the form of oil and coal, used to be in the atmosphere. :palm: The planet Earth is currently in its 3rd ICEHOUSE and in a state of CO2 starvation.

Okay, I can see I am dealing with a scientific illiterate here.

Carbon in oil and coal comes from biomass. Specifically, terrestrial plant matter, algae, and plankton. Carbon in hydrocarbons is not sourced "from the atmosphere".

My suggestion is that scientific illiterates should avoid threads dealing with science.

But, I know, like petulant children, wingnuts like to get the last word in. So I leave you to your climate science denial bellowing and braying.

Well I have a degree in chemistry, what have you got? I predict silence from the poster named after a conifer.

He is correct in that the carbon of which biomass is composed is separated from atmospheric CO2.
He is incorrect that it happened in an instant though.

Last time I checked, Germany was 91% Germanic peoples and 0.7% Black :palm: No surprise that liberal socialist pigs want the U.S. to look exactly like Germany.

Check again retard.
Muslims now account for a significant percentage thanks to you neo-con monkees fucking up their homelands.
Damn you are stupid

Muslim is a religion, not a race or ethnicity :palm:

Post your "significant percentage" numbers or shut the fuck up.

You Evil bastard arrogant Al Gorians starved people to death and birthed Obama's JV team which caused the emigration. :palm:

Muslims are not ethnic Germans, moron.

Fucking retard. Plants have stripped more than 90% of the planet's CO2 from the atmosphere leaving it in a state of CO2 starvation. This is basic science :palm:

That's not what he said, I can only go by the words one writes.
The carbon is sequestered on geologic time scales in the subsurface, in a state of equilibrium. Only a moron and a scientific illiterate would think it would be a good idea to burn off all the trillions of tons of carbon sequestered in the earth, and release it into the atmosphere in history's most deliberate and epic destabilization of the natural equilibrium

You need to work on your reading comprehension, Junior.

Nice to know you think humans are not natural animals of the Earth. :palm:

In Cypress defense Tom, he has a PhD. In Geology. He's worked for major petroleum companies and he's taught at the University level. He won't admit it on here cause people will just state he's bragging or lying but he has in the past sent me one of his peer reviewed papers he thought I would find interesting.

If I remember correctly it was on deep well injection and transmigration.

Poor Tom.
Outgunned, outclassed and unliked.

It's self-evident. Oil and coal is formed by plants. Plants have not been on the Earth for billions of years. I guess being "just a follower", you wouldn't know that. :palm:

Wrong again idiot.
Photosynthesis began 3.2 billion years ago.
What a fucktard you are.

Well he certainly never given any indication that he has studied sciences to any great extent. All his replies appear to be emotion driven like Runes, so it would be good if he argued on a more factual basis.

I have a very good friend that I've known since secondary school who was a professor of environmental sciences at Queen's University Belfast. He now works at Oxford University part time doing research on soil erosion, he is currently writing a paper as well. We have great discussions about climate change, he was like Cypress at first but I managed to get him to open his mind and be far more sceptical about the so called science.

Talk to him. Like any man of science he's open to legitimate scepticism.
