But some fat middle aged rambo-wannabe white dudes who belong to a right wing militia are considered - by wingnuts - to be noble defenders of the constitution, gun rights, and teabagger principles.

I'm not aware that La Raza or Nation of Islam has ever conspired to detonate IED's at a cops funeral, or blow up a federal building in Oklahoma City. I think those acts of violence, or those plots of murder are worthy of arrest, don't you?
That said, there isn't a single doubt on the planet that broadly speaking, rightwingers consider La Raza and Nation of islam to be extremist and nefarious organizations - while, in contrast, holding out right wing militias as honorable and noble defenders of the constitution.
If you don't think it has anything to do with race, that's fine. I'm sure Limbaugh and Beck would make the same claim. I disagree.

I agree. I also see that the cons are calling all muslims dangerous, and the libs are calling all christians with guns dangerous.
Both are inaccurate and sensationalist.
Topper comparing these militia lunatics with the NRA is no different than SM ranting about muslims.

It was reported that they "hoped" that what they did would cause a knee-jerk reaction by authorities where they, the authorities would try and disarm citizens. This would cause more violence towards authorities.
That said, this was a "small" nutter group. They are not representative of the actions or motives of militia groups as a whole. They do however provide more fodder for an obama loving media needing a story to (a) distract from the obamacare story. (b) more screed to try and lay at the feet of TEA party supporters. and (c) to make the public fear citizens owning guns

We know this, but the stories will arise linking this "mindset" to the TEA party mindset. Look at the hubabaloo over Palin's cross-hair map. Then there is the group marching on DC that are armed with pistols and unloaded rifles. Some of these people may support the message of the TEA party (small government) but because they may, the TEA party will be linked to "guns" as if that is bad and scary..."I mean look at the Hutatree folks just to see where these people come from"; these will be the stories.

How many have been published? Quite a few, the Michigan Militia immediately denounced the nutters, the TEA Party Organizers the same. You just assume, like the political bigot you are, and trudge on in deliberate ignorance. There is nothing more disconcerting than deliberate ignorance on a site designed to allay exactly that...
Not only did they denounce these nutters, but the leader of the Michigan Militia is working directly with FBI against one of the nutters who tried to contact him after they were arrested.

Listen up vinny, I don't give a shit about your over-simplified race baiting questions...NO ONE DOES! You are an asshole who gets an assholes treatment:321:
Oh, stop lying you ignorant POS.....NOTHING on this thread that I posted brought up the issue of race....YOU did that. YOU CANNOT PRODUCE THE POST ON THIS THREAD OF ME INITIATING WHAT YOU ASSERT IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS.
You can't logically defend or debate your ideology or position on this thread's subject......nursing your grudge by attacking me won't hide that.
So like your compadres, you spend time and effort to respond to my posts and send me an array of childish insults via the reputation notes because you don't care about what I write......that claim by you is so absurdly contradictory and convoluted that it gives one pause to wonder how you actually muster the mental ability to read write at all....albeit bereft of high school comprehension. Post #62 puts you in your place. Carry on.

Most indicted members of militia group are voters
By TOM TROY

Most of the indicted militia members accused of being anti-government extremists have active voting records, a check with area voter registration offices showed yesterday.
One is a registered Democrat, and the party affiliations of the rest could not be determined.
Jacob J. Ward, 33, of Huron, Ohio, voted as a Democrat in the 2004 and 2008 primary elections, and in 10 other elections since 2000. Voters' political affiliations in Ohio are determined by which party's ballot they request during even-year primary elections.
Alleged ringleader David Brian Stone, Sr., 45, of Clayton, Mich., registered in Lenawee County, Michigan, in 1998, and last voted in the 2004 general election.
His, and other Michigan voters' party affiliations, if any, are not public records because of Michigan's open primary elections, officials said.

That puts a whole new spin on it, could it be they are all democrats.

:palm: Once again, a bunch of neocon numbskulls swear my posts are not worth reading and no one pays attention...yet they ALL are so incensed that they cannot logically or factually refute or disprove my posts (and that I best them at the game of insults), that they send me nasty little reputation notes and try to divert any discussion into this personal slam fest.
Bottom line, YOU couldn't answer a simple question regarding this thread's subject title...so you rant and rave all type of lies and BS. My post above stands true....and YOU, my intellectually bankrupt neocon skater, falls flat on the ice again! Carry on!:cof1:
